Respite Stays

At Forest Creek Retreat our mission is simple yet profound:

To provide a safe and inclusive space where individuals with disabilities can find comfort, support and empowerment. We believe that everyone deserves access to healing and relaxation, and we are committed to ensuring that this retreat is fully accessible and accommodating to all. Drawing on our extensive experience in the sector, we have created a home environment that is not only accessible but also tailored to the specific needs of individuals with disabilities. The attention to detail and commitment to meeting NDIS standards ensure a high level of safe quality care. With a low client to staff ratio (generally 1:1 or 2:1max) we can be sure individuals receive adequate attention and the support they require. Flexibility for clients to book respite services together, and special considerations for clients to bring along their companions or care givers of their choosing adds an extra layer of customisation and inclusivity. These considerations will undoubtedly contribute to creating a unique and beneficial respite experience for those living with disabilities.

Experience the magic of forest creek retreat- Where every moment is infused with warmth, care and the promise of renewal.

What They Said

"Mel was a support worker for my partner Greg for over five years. He had multiple complex disabilities including many physical and cognitive deficits requiring 24-hour care. Mel was the most reliable and trustworthy carer we ever had. She not only competent and capable, she takes responsibility. I was able to leave Greg with her for many weeks so I could let go and have her take over while I went travelling overseas. Enthusiastic and clever, Mel will always find something interesting to engage a client and ensure they are treated with respect and compassion. She would bring her gorgeous therapy dog who enticed Greg out of bed and helped him engage with life. No one is better equipped personally and professionally to run a live-in respite homestay"
